Before my New York trip, during the trip itself, and after I came back, I have had some of the best food ever. I think half of the reason why my editing is taking so long is because when I come across food pictures, I take a moment and just reminisce over all the delicious goodies I've had. These are just some of the things I had before my trip (+ one picture of the mochi tiramisu I had last Friday).
Ok, ending the food spam. Apologies for any of those looking at this late at night...
Onto my new beauty/tech gear!
I've been using my Clarisonic for the past couple weeks and I'll admit, I was hoping for miracles from all the raves about this cleansing tool for the past couple years. After lusting for it for so long and even buying one for my mom, I finally gave in and got one for myself. Although your skin won't magically become flawless, I've seen a noticeable improvement. After using it in the morning, I feel like my skin absorbs moisturizers a lot better and makeup glides on easier. Even using the sensitive head, it gently exfoliates my skin and I've also seen some of the redness around my nose go away. I think this is probably one of the best investments I've made for my skin, but it only works if you keep using it! It feels like a gentle massage so even someone as lazy as me is addicted.
EasyAcc External Battery Charger
During my trip to New York, I was always scared my phone would run out of battery from running around all day and looking up metro schedules, but my friend brought her portable charger, which really saved my ass. In fact, she was so prepared.. she carried around two! After coming back from my trip, I went ahead and bought one from Amazon with 12000 mAh supposedly able to charge your phone from 0 - 100% at least seven times. I've been using it exclusively to charge my phone for the past week and it's awesome! Just throw it in my purse and let my phone charge while I'm eating or driving. Definitely something I'll be carrying with me a lot, especially in my future travels!
Before I left for my trip, I was planning on dying my hair dark brown, but somewhere along the way I failed and it turned out Snow White black. Or Skrillex black. *Boohoo* It's beginning to fade out now and I'm growing accustomed to it so I'm not as devastated as I was when I first realized I looked like Nicholas Cage's son or Skrillex. For those of you that don't know what Nicholas Cage's son looks like:... you're welcome.
UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL IN YOUR FACE, AHHH!
Ok back to editing for reals.
